Camps will be organized today to promote solar plants: information will be given to domestic consumers; Will get subsidy exemption

To promote Solar Rooptop, 5 camps will be organized by the East Zone Company in different divisions today. In the camp, domestic consumers will be informed about the benefits of installing solar plants and government discounts. The camp will be organized from 11 am today, in which domestic consumers will be provided electricity by installing solar panels on the roofs of homes by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. Information about rooftop solar scheme will be given to build it.

In which 40 percent discount will be given for installing panels up to 3 kilowatts, while for panels from 3 kilowatts to 10 kilowatts, a subsidy of up to 20 percent will be given.

Vendor will be responsible for up to 5 years

After installing the solar panels, the responsibility of taking care of up to 5 years will be of the concerned bender, along with this, after reducing the grant amount, the balance amount will be paid by the consumers. The entire process can also be seen on the online portal of the electricity distribution company. On installation, consumers will also be given a discount of subsidy at different levels.

₹ 25,946 will have to be paid for installing a 1 kilowatt panel. So there will be Rs 51,893 for a 2 kW panel, ₹ 77,839 for 3 kW, 1,41,107 for 5 kW and ₹ 3,11,584 for 10 kW.
