‘Foreign tourist gave wrong information’

Dr. Srivastava said that the foreign tourist had given wrong information. He is now being searched with the help of officials and police. Dr Srivastava said, “An international tourist, who had come to visit Taj Mahal on December 26, had tested positive for Covid. He was not allowed to enter inside Taj Mahal after being found positive in antigen test. He gave us the wrong contact. Had given details. We are trying to trace him. We are taking help from local authorities, police, ASI and nearby hotels to trace him.”

A person returned from China is also Kovid positive

Dr. Srivastava told, “Another corona patient has been found in Agra who had returned from China a few days back. The sample has been sent to Lucknow for genome sequencing. This is important because he came from China. He returned to India on December 22.” landed and reached Agra on December 23. We are trying to trace his contacts. The man has not come in contact with many people as he used to spend most of the time in his room since his arrival.”

District administration keeping a close watch on Kovid

Meanwhile, checking has been increased at Agra railway station, bus stand and airport following the guidelines of the Centre.
