Uttar Pradesh Crime: Have you seen the movie ‘Dolly Ki Doli’? If yes then you must have seen how a girl marries many boys and then runs away with their money. They have a gang with such people. A similar case has happened in Etah, Uttar Pradesh. Where the police busted a gang by arresting four people including a 30-year-old woman. This gang used to loot valuables and money in the name of fake marriage.
Used to cheat on the pretext of fake marriage
According to the information, the fake marriage gang has cheated many people. Any young man who was looking for a bride. These gangs used to somehow talk to them and prepare them for marriage and get them married to their gang’s women. If the victim’s family took any action, the gang used to threaten to file a false case of dowry harassment against them.
The accused have been identified as Anjali, a resident of Banaras and Rahul Kumar, Dharmendra Kumar and Anil Kumar, residents of Hathras. It is said that he was running this racket for a long time.
Case registered under sections of IPC
SHO of Dehat police station Sunil Kumar said that we have arrested four members of the gang. After investigation we found that three people including two women are still absconding and we are trying to arrest them. He said that a case has been registered under various sections including 420 (cheating) of the IPC and the accused have been sent to jail after being produced before a magistrate.
