The election results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh will come on December 8, but according to exit polls, the BJP is set to form the government for a record 7th time in Gujarat. Here out of total 182 seats, BJP has been predicted to get 117 to 148 seats, Congress 30 to 51 seats and AAP 3 to 13 seats. According to the survey, BJP is winning around 133 seats this time.

On the other hand, out of total 68 seats in Himachal, BJP is expected to get 32 ​​to 40 seats and Congress will get 27 to 40 seats. There is a close fight between BJP and Congress. Both the parties are seen close to majority. According to the survey, BJP is getting 33 seats this time, Congress 26, others 2 and Aam Aadmi Party is not getting even a single seat.

Disciple reaches Supreme Court to declare Guru as God, court imposes one lakh fine

Anukulchandra Chakraborty – popularly known as Sri Sri Thakur. He was the founder of Satsang at Deoghar. Anukul Chandra died on 27 January 1969. The Government of India issued a Memo postage stamp in his name in 1987.

A disciple filed a public interest litigation in the Supreme Court to declare his guru as God. The petitioner Upendra Nath Dalai is a disciple of Sri Sri Anukul Chandra Thakur. His demand was that in view of Sri Sri Thakur’s contribution to the religion-society, the Supreme Court should instruct him to consider him as God. However, the bench of Justice MR Shah and Justice CT Ravikumar rejected it. Along with this, a fine of one lakh rupees was also imposed on the petitioner. Court said- India is a secular country. The petitioner cannot be allowed to force the people of the country to believe that Sri Sri Anukul Chandra is divine.

On this day in 1992, lakhs of kar sevaks had demolished the disputed structure of Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The dispute regarding the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya was going on for hundreds of years. BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani started the movement in 1990 for the construction of the Ram temple.

From the morning of December 5, 1992, kar sevaks started arriving near the disputed structure in Ayodhya. At that time, the Supreme Court had allowed only bhajan-kirtan in front of the disputed structure. But the next morning i.e. on 6th December, the mob went berserk and demolished the disputed structure of Babri Masjid.

Babri Masjid was locked since 1949 due to the controversy.

It is said that at that time more than 1.5 lakh kar sevaks were present there and the Babri structure was demolished by the mob in just 5 hours. Babri Masjid was razed to the ground at 5.5 minutes in the evening. After this communal riots broke out across the country. More than 2 thousand people were killed in these riots.

An FIR was registered in the case and 49 people were made accused. The accused included BJP and VHP leaders like LK Advani, Uma Bharti, Murli Manohar Joshi, Kalyan Singh, Champat Rai, Kamlesh Tripathi. The case continued in the court for 28 years and on September 30 this year, the CBI court in Lucknow acquitted all the accused due to lack of evidence.
