Accused of cheating in police custody.
The Thana Bhawan police station of the district has arrested a BJP leader who cheated money in the name of job. The arrested accused is a resident of Saharanpur district. The accused used to cheat BJP leader in the name of getting job. Acting on the complaint of the victims, the police registered a case against the accused and arrested him and sent him to jail. It is alleged that the accused BJP leader has cheated many people of lakhs of rupees in the name of job.
5 lakh was demanded
The case pertains to the Thana Bhawan police station area of the district, where the victim Kamal Aggarwal, while giving an application to the police station, has alleged that Saharanpur resident Prashant Gupta alias Pawan Gupta son Sudhir Gupta New Jawahar Park Bhuteshwar Mandir Kotwali Mandi and one of his associates Sonu Marwah scolded him. In the name of getting a job, demanded ₹ 5,00,000 from him and cheated him of ₹ 100000. The same Prashant Gupta had given him the appointment letters of jobs in the Railways by forgery. When he reached the department to take the job, he came to know about the fake appointment letter.
Police sent the accused to jail
In the case registered after the application of the victims, the police has succeeded in arresting the said accused Prashant Gupta during the raid. Police said that dozens of forgery cases are already registered against Prashant Gupta in different police stations. Prashant Gupta is a vicious thug. He had duped the victim of ₹ 1,00,000. Now taking action, the police has sent the accused to jail.
Let us tell you that the accused Prashant holds a position in the youth of the BJP party, the rest is being investigated whether it is true or false. By making his own ID of a BJP leader, he robs people on some social media, posters of him being a BJP leader have also been found.
On the other hand, in this case, the police officer says that an accused has been arrested who is accused of cheating and he had also given a fake appointment letter about which the victim had complained, acting on the same, arrested the said accused and Further statutory legal action is being taken
