A decrease of 78 has been registered in active Kovid-19 cases in the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the data released by the Union Ministry of Health, 104 new cases of Kovid-19 were registered on Sunday (January 15). Now the number of active cases has increased to 2149. The total number of Kovid cases has been recorded at 4.46 crore (4,46,81,040). The death rate is 1.19 percent.
The Health Ministry said that the total number of people recovering from Corona has increased to 4 crore 41 lakh 46 thousand 055. Kovid-19 recovery rate is 98.80%. According to the information received from the department, 74,320 Kovid tests were done across the country on Sunday. Most of the cases of Kovid in the country are coming from Kerala.

In view of the danger from the new variant of Corona, the governments of the states along with the center are also very active. The Kovid random test at the airport was started from 24 December itself. At the same time, on December 27, hospitals across the country did a mock drill regarding the management of Corona and the preparedness of health facilities. To prevent corona from spreading in India, the Union Health Ministry has already issued guidelines to the states.
The Union Health Ministry had said on December 28 that the next 40 days would be crucial for India. According to the information of the department, an increase in infection will be seen in January, but now the cases are coming down gradually.
