- Lalghati To Be Renamed Sultania Infantry Lines; Proposal In The Meeting Of The Corporation Council

Bhopal Municipal Corporation meeting will be held on 3rd November. In this mainly five issues will be raised and approval will be given. The most important road from Lalghati to Sultania Infantry Lines is proposed to be named Shaheed Group Captain Varun Singh. This proposal has been approved in MIC (Mayor in Council). Rest of the issues are related to 15 MW wind power plant, water supply in Gondarmau etc. To which the opposition has raised objections. Because of this, this meeting will also be a riot.
The opposition has made a strategy to surround the ‘city government’ on issues like water, roads, chlorine gas leakage, encroachment, non-availability of chambers, while a plan was prepared to stop the Congress councilors in the BJP councilor party meeting held on November 1. The council meeting will be held on November 3 at 11.30 am.
Before the meeting of the Municipal Council to be held on 3 November, BJP councilors sat together and discussed many topics.
Know about Martyr Group Captain Varun Singh
On December 8 last year, CDS General Rawat’s helicopter crashed in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. He was accompanied by Group Captain Varun Singh. He died eight days after the accident. He was cremated in Bhopal. On December 18, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced the establishment of a statue of Shaheed Varun Singh and naming any institution after him. After this, the Urban Administration Department prepared a proposal to name the route from Lalghati intersection to Sultania Infantry Lines on 19 January 2022 after the name of Martyr Group Captain Varun Singh Shauryachakra. Now this proposal will be approved in the meeting of the corporation council. The length of the road is 1.38 kilometers and the width is 7 meters.
The last rites of martyr Group Captain Varun Singh took place in Bhopal.
These issues will also be kept
- 15 MW wind power project: MIC has been approved for setting up of 15 MW wind power plant. This will also be placed in the council meeting. After this, its work will start and will be completed by March-23. After this, there will be a saving of about Rs 8 crore every year.
- A proposal will also be made to lay a pipeline for water supply system in the Raja Bhoj residential complex scheme, Gondarmau. In which Rs 14.69 crore will be spent. Apart from these, those subjects which will have the permission of the Speaker, they will also be kept.
Leader of Opposition said – Many issues are not proposed
Leader of Opposition Shabista Zaki said that there are many topics including bulk connection, encroachment, road, which we had given but they are not being kept in the meeting. Despite this, in the meeting, the Congress will strongly keep the issues related to the public.
The meeting was held two months ago, Congress surrounded the president
Earlier, the council meeting was held on 5 September. In this too, the Congress councilors surrounded the ‘city government’ on the issue of tax. He had surrounded the seat of the president Kishan Suryavanshi. Many times BJP and Congress councilors had come face to face. Thereafter the meeting was adjourned sine die. Now a second meeting has been proposed on 3 November.
