Tight security arrangements will be made by the police for the Buddhist festival to be held on October 8 and 9 in Sankisa, a Buddhist pilgrimage site. The ADM held a meeting with the Buddhist and Sanatan righteous people at the Merapur police station. He said that the program should be conducted in a peaceful manner. If anyone tries to disturb the atmosphere in this, then the police will take strict action.
It was clearly told in the meeting that there will be no new tradition according to the festival register. Anyone who tries to disturb the atmosphere here will go to jail. The ADM asked Karmaveer, the convener of the festival, to get barricading done around the stupa.
ADM held a meeting with SDM and CO
Apart from ADM Subhash Chandra Prajapati, SDM Sadar Sanjay Singh and CO Sohrao Alam were also present here. Both sides assured to conduct the program in a peaceful manner. Atul Dixit, Dilip Dixit, Bhante Dr. Dhampal, Chetsik Buddhist, Raghuveer Shakya, Deepak Rajput etc. were present in the meeting.
80 people were banned
The police have arrested 80 people for the program. So that the situation here remains better. In the meeting, the ADM clearly said that the Sanatan Dharmars should reach there according to the time fixed. The police will keep a close watch on the security.
