After that, Shaista Parveen, wife of former SP MP Atiq Ahmed, is also going to file two petitions in the High Court demanding a CBI inquiry into the Umesh Pal murder case.
The family will file petitions in the High Court
It has been told that in the first petition there will be talks about the demand for a CBI inquiry into the Umesh Pal murder case. Along with this, there will be a demand for a CBI inquiry under the monitoring of the High Court. On the other hand, the second application will be regarding the arrest stay.
From the Rajupal murder case to the murder of Umesh Pal, four members of Atiq Ahmed’s family are in jail. In this, Atiq Ahmed himself is lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Gujarat. Also, his brother Ashraf has been transferred to Bareilly Jail a few days back. Atiq’s elder son Mohammad Umar is lodged in Lucknow Jail, while his younger son Ali Ahmed is lodged in Naini Central Jail in Prayagraj. Along with this, two other sons of Atiq Ahmed, Ehzam and Aban are in the custody of the police. Asad Ahmed, the third son, is still absconding.
Atiq’s wife Shaista wrote a letter to CM
Atiq Ahmed’s wife Shaista Parveen has also been interrogated by the police. However, Shaista Parveen says that her family is innocent. Shaista Parveen will file a petition in the High Court demanding a stay on the arrest of her sons Asad Ahmed, Ehzam and Aban. Please inform that in this connection, Atiq Ahmed’s wife Shaista Parveen has also written a letter to CM Yogi.
Shaista has sent a letter to CM Yogi demanding a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. Along with this, a letter has also been sent to the CM’s portal, in which Shaista has written that her family has nothing to do with this massacre. Along with this, the police have taken his two sons for several days and the lives of the children are in danger.
There is fear of police encounter
Ateeq Ahmed’s lawyer Khan Soulat Hanif has informed that Shaista Parveen has alleged that the police is plotting an encounter, in which she fears that the police may kill her husband Ateeq Ahmed and brother-in-law Ashraf. Along with this, Shaista has demanded that the government should announce a CBI inquiry so that the truth of the matter can be revealed.
