Then now from August 29, the remand of Minister Ashu was received till August 31. In these 9 days, where the Vigilance interrogated Minister Ashu continuously, the closeness of Ashu was also tightened.
Meenu Malhotra, who called himself PA of Ashu, is already absconding, now Indrajit Indi, who calls himself PA, is also hiding from Vigilance. Vigilance has got the records of properties close to Ashu removed from the Municipal Corporation. Due to which Vigilance is continuously summoning Ashu’s close friends and is being included in the investigation.
On Tuesday, Mayor Balkar Sandhu, Sunny Bhalla and Hemant Sood were asked by the Vigilance to appear before the Vigilance Office with some records. The three people also appeared in the Vigilance office but the Vigilance was not satisfied after seeing their records. There were some shortcomings due to which he has been called again to the Vigilance office today.
Let us tell you that in the coming days, Vigilance is preparing to tighten the noose on many more close ones. Vigilance has the names of many such people of the city who lived with Ashu all the time, including people from many corporate houses.
Two other persons associated with the organization of Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra in the city were also called for questioning on Tuesday. These people were called because when the Vigilance officers came out while presenting Ashu in the court on Monday, some people had thrown pamphlets by writing the names of two people saying Ashu’s associates. After this, the Vigilance interrogated those two persons. Whose names were written in that leaflet.
