Sajid Khan said that his “success” and arrogance “ruined” him. While talking to Bigg Boss 16 host Salman Khan, Sajid Khan revealed that “To direct big actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Mithun Da, Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor, Dabboo ji (Randhir Kapoor)). After that, there was arrogance in him.” He became “arrogant” because his films were doing well. Sajid said- “There is a saying “failure ruins people, in my case, success ruined me.”

According to Sajid Khan, when he gave “three back-to-back hits”, he began to believe that he was “the best and can never make a wrong film”. But when reality showed him the mirror, the 2013 film Himmatwala and the 2014 comedy-romance Humshakals failed miserably at the box office.
Overnight removed from Housefull 4
Sajid also talked about leaving the position as director from the film Housefull 4 in the year 2019. He said, “I hid my face from people after Humshakals film flopped, after that, I started writing Housefull 4 and directed half of the film. Till night I was working on the film and suddenly in the morning I was thrown out of the film. My credit for the film was also taken away from me. Then I thought it was some indication of God that I have to be a good person.”
There were serious allegations of sexual abuse against Sadij
The Metoo movement started in the year 2018. In this movement, women told about the incidents of sexual abuse, rape and molestation with them. Then some actresses from the film industry including actresses Saloni Chopra, Rachel White and Mandana Karimi as well as journalist Karishma Upadhyay had made serious allegations of sexual harassment against director Sajid Khan.
Following these allegations, Sajid Khan was suspended by the Indian Film and Television Directors Association for a year. Sajid was also dropped from his directorial film Housefull 4.
