Arsenal could compete with Manchester United to sign Lyon defender Malo Gusto, according to journalist Dean Jones.
The Gunners currently have Ben White as the regular right-back under manager Mikel Arteta. Takehiro Tomiyasu has been his deputy.
There is no reason to change things at the moment, but Jones claims that the Gunners may want a more creative right-back in the future.
It is added that Gusto could be under consideration for a transfer, given his immense development at Lyon over the past 18 months.
The 19-year-old has been brilliant with his all-round displays for Les Gones and has been dubbed as the new Trent Alexander-Arnold.
United are said to be interested in signing him for around €30m and it remains to be seen whether Arsenal enter the pursuit.
A January deal appears unlikely on the cards for either club. There could be a bidding battle between the two for him in the summer.
Gusto is widely expected to be sold by Les Gones as he has turned down a contract extension beyond the 2023/24 campaign.
