Cops Killed In Australia: Six people, including two police officers, were killed in a shooting in Australia’s Queensland state on Monday (December 12). According to the officials, the police had reached the place to investigate the case of a missing person. According to the BBC report, the incident took place in Vembilla, 270 km west of Brisbane, Queensland. According to officials, the police have killed three suspected attackers after a long siege. However, the reason behind the attack could not be ascertained.
The police were attacked by assailants when they arrived at the scene following a request from the New South Wales Police. Both the police constables who died had recently joined the police service.

The slain constable Matthew Arnold was only 26, while fellow Rachel Macro was 29 years old. As soon as both of them reached the spot, armed criminals shot them. Ian Leavers, president of the Queensland Police Union, told AFP news agency that “they were riddled with bullets as soon as they entered the property and had no chance of survival”.
