- 5 Centers Will Be Opened In The District, Agricultural Engineering Will Have To Apply On Plain Paper

Applications have been invited for setting up five Custom Hiring Centers in Betul district. Applicants can apply for this on plain paper. These centers are to be set up for Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) for the year 2022-23. Out of which the application will be selected on the basis of first come-first serve.
Applications can be submitted by Assistant Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Engineering, Betul behind Kothi Bazar Bus Stand in office hours till 31 October. In the application, along with general information, the registration of the FPO and the details of the work proposed to be done will have to be submitted.
Terms and Conditions
- Under Custom Hiring Centers, compulsory and optional equipment will have to be purchased through the registered manufacturers on the e-Krishi Yantra Grant portal of the Directorate of Agricultural Engineering.
- According to the provision given under the Submission on Agricultural Mechanization scheme on the purchase of machines, 40 percent of the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment kept in the center, a maximum amount of Rs 10 lakh will be available.
- Agricultural machinery and equipment up to a maximum amount of Rs 25 lakh can be kept in a center.
- It will be mandatory to set up custom hiring centers under bank loan. Whose lock-in period will be minimum 4 years.
- This project will also be presented on the portal of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund run by the Government of India. Under which an additional 3 percent interest subsidy will be received on the loan. Also, the age of the application is 18 to 40 years, the educational qualification is 12th and the village in which the Custom Hiring Center has been established. Applications from that village will not be accepted.
