Another youth injured in Saran violence dies, ban on social media till February 10


Bihar Crime: In Mubarakpur in Manjhi police station area of ​​Saran district of Bihar, another youth, Rahal Kumar, who was allegedly beaten up by the chief’s husband Vijay Yadav by taking three youths hostage, died on Wednesday night. Please tell that this incident started on Thursday, February 2. When Vijay Yadav, the husband of the head of this village, Aarti Devi, was shot at by some unknown people. Yadav and his associates suspected Amitesh Singh, Rahul Kumar and Alok Kumar in that incident. Vijay Yadav called the three youths to his chicken farm and tied their hands and feet and beat them mercilessly. Amitesh has already died in this incident.

Angry people vandalized
After this, the angry people in the area created a lot of uproar in the house of the accused. On Sunday evening, more than 500 motorcycle-borne youths reached the village and started hooliganism. About 30 huts were vandalized and set on fire. They could not identify the house of Vijay Yadav and his poultry farm but set several huts on fire and three vehicles including a truck and a tractor. After which, in order to maintain social and communal harmony in this area, the government has banned social sites till 10 February. Earlier this ban was imposed till February 8.

7 people arrested so far
Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr. Gaurav Mangla, who reached the village after being informed about the arson, said that the police have registered three separate FIRs (First Information Reports) in connection with murder, arson and spreading rumours. A total of seven people have been arrested so far. In which three youths are involved in murder, three others for violence on Sunday and one for spreading rumors through social media. The SP said that the situation is under control but rumors spread on social media had created tension between the two castes, which has now been brought under control. He said that the SHO of Manjhi police station, Dev Anand, has been suspended for failing to control the rampaging mob on Sunday.

Police said they would approach the court to obtain a property attachment warrant against the absconding poultry owner Vijay Yadav. Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police (ADG) SM Khopde visited the village on Monday and reviewed the situation.
