Recently an American journalist was lynched to death just for wearing a T-shirt in support of the LGBTQ community. It was less than 48 hours since his death, till then the news of the death of another journalist in Qatar has taken everyone by surprise. According to Metro Khabar, Khalid Al-Mislam was a photojournalist from Qatar. He was working for Al Kass TV. He died on Sunday (December 11).
The outlet further stated that the Qatari authorities have not released an official cause of his death. The news about Al-Mislam was posted on Twitter by Gulf Times, which wrote that he died suddenly while covering the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

Another journalist died after 48 hours
This incident happened 48 hours after the death of American journalist Grant Wahl. Grant Wahl, 48, collapsed while covering the quarter-final match between Argentina and the Netherlands at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Friday. Wahl’s brother Eric alleged that the Qatar government may have been involved in the former Sports Illustrated journalist’s death. Wahl’s wife Celine Gonder, an epidemiologist and specialist in infectious diseases, expressed her shock on social media.
