A video of Ambedkar’s statue being damaged in a village in Mahoba district is going viral on social media. The village head has been accused of damaging the Ambedkar statue. Since then, the villagers raised slogans against the village head, creating a ruckus in the village. The police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Angered by the attempt to remove the Ambedkar statue on the land of the village society, the angry villagers created a ruckus and demanded that the Ambedkar statue should not be removed.

Actually, let us tell you that this case is of Lohar village under Mahobkanth police station area of the district. Where in the evening an attempt was made by the village head to remove the Ambedkar statue on the land of the village society. The villagers allege that the Ambedkar statue has also been damaged by the village head. The video of which was made by the villagers and also went viral on social media. Angry villagers protested in the village itself after the village head damaged the Ambedkar statue. Seeing the growing resentment of the villagers, the village head left the spot. In the video made by the villagers, it is seen how Ambedkar statue is being damaged with a shovel in his hand. On receiving the information, Mahobkanth police station also reached the spot and pacified the villagers.

The statue is installed on the land of village society
When the Ambedkar statue was installed on the land of the village society, an attempt was made to remove it. There is a lot of resentment among the villagers due to this act of the village head. The villagers raised slogans against Pradhan and appealed to the administration not to remove the Ambedkar statue from the place. While talking to Mahobkanth station in-charge Upendranath Rai on the phone regarding this whole matter, he refused to answer and disconnected the phone, denying any such incident.
