The body of a missing person has been recovered from the canal of Ropar in Punjab’s Naloh in Una, Himachal Pradesh. After being informed by the relatives, the Amb police went to Punjab and took the body of the youth in their possession. On October 17, the missing had left for Shimla from Amb, but did not reach home. After which his family members lodged a missing complaint.
According to the information, Meenakshi Sharma’s wife Manish Kumar had lodged a missing report of Narendra Kumar Sharma in Amb police station. Police also recorded the statements of family members as well as his wife Renu Sharma. Renu told in her statements that her husband was coming from Shimla to Amb on October 17. During this, he had told the family members on the phone to reach Kiratpur Sahib and reach home in two and a half hours.
After that call, none of the family members could have any contact with Narendra. After which the family members lodged a missing report at Amb police station. The wife of the deceased says that her husband had no enmity with anyone.
He said that late on November 1, he was called by the Punjab Police to find and identify a dead body. After which the family members along with the police identified the body as Narendra. Also, after conducting the post-mortem, the body was taken into his possession. Police has started further action in this matter.
