The CIA-2 team of Ambala Police of Haryana has got a big success. CIA raids Delhi and arrests main supplier of drugs. The accused has been identified as Edwin alias Tankon Mohammad Ibube Navanko, originally from Africa, who was residing in Chandra Bihar, New Delhi.
During interrogation it has been revealed that Edwin used to supply heroin in Ambala and Punjab through drug smugglers. This African drug smuggler came to India on a business visa. Investigation has revealed that the accused Edwin was living illegally in Delhi since the expiry of his visa.
The police has produced the accused in the court and has taken him on remand for one day. It was told that the police would also interrogate the accused on production warrant in the heroin case caught in Ambala recently. CIA-2 Ambala has caught the accused and handed him over to the Delhi Police.

Drugs supplier had wires connected in Ambala
SP Jashandeep Singh Randhawa said that the police had arrested Kush, a resident of Ludhiana, including 16 grams of heroin. During the remand, the accused made many important revelations. On September 1, on the informer of accused Kush, 4 accused including 2 women resident of Deha Colony were arrested with 1 kg of heroin. Along with this, CIA-2 and CIA Shahzadpur had arrested 60 and 263 grams of heroin along with other smugglers. During the interrogation, everyone’s link was connected to Edwin, a drug supplier sitting in Delhi.
Third layer of drug smuggling chain broken
The SP said that the third layer accused has been arrested inside the drug smuggling chain, who has so far supplied heroin worth crores in Ambala. The strings of 4 drug smugglers caught in Ambala are related to this main accused. The police will take further action by attaching the properties of drug smugglers. Will interrogate the accused in different cases on production warrant.
