In the last 24 hours, 7 thousand 533 cases of corona have been reported, while 44 people died. Active cases of corona have decreased for the sixth consecutive day. There were 53 thousand 852 active cases in the country on Thursday. Earlier, on April 22, there were maximum 67 thousand 806 active cases. Active cases have come down to less than 60 thousand after 10 days.
On April 16, 60,313 people were undergoing treatment in the country, after which this figure kept increasing. Active cases are decreasing due to reduction in new cases and recovery of most of the people.
New cases are getting less than 10 thousand since 4 days
For the last four days, new cases are getting less than 10 thousand. On Sunday (April 23), 6 thousand 904 new cases were reported, 16 people died. On Monday (April 24), 6 thousand 934 new infected were found. There were 24 deaths there.
On Tuesday (April 25), 9 thousand 629 cases were registered and 29 people died. At the same time, on Wednesday i.e. 26th April also 9 thousand 355 cases have been reported. Earlier, on Saturday i.e. April 22, 10 thousand 112 new cases of corona were found, while 29 people died. During this, 9 thousand 833 people were cured.
More than 58% new cases in top-5 states, Kerala at the forefront
In the last 24 hours, 9,355 new corona patients were found in the country. Of these, 5,441 cases were found in only 5 states. This is more than 58% of the total figures.
Kerala: 2,199 new cases were found here, 3,588 people got cured, while 7 people died. Currently there are 13,773 active cases here.
Delhi: 1,040 new cases came here, 7 people died. At the same time, 1,320 people have recovered from Corona. The positivity rate here is 21.16%.
