Active cases of Corona crossed 50 thousand: 10,753 new cases came in 24 hours, 27 deaths; 89 thousand infected so far in April itself

The active cases of Corona in the country have crossed the figure of 50 thousand. In the last 24 hours, 10,753 new cases of corona have been registered in the country, while 27 people have died. Active cases increased to 53,720. Earlier, on September 4 last year, more than 50 thousand active cases were registered. In the last 14 days i.e. from April 1 to 14, 89 thousand people have been infected in the country.

A day earlier i.e. on Thursday, 11 thousand 109 cases of infection were reported, while 29 people died. Apart from this, active cases had increased to 49 thousand 622.

According to the website of the Ministry of Health, the daily positivity rate has reached 6.78% and the weekly rate has reached 4.49%. Apart from this, the recovery rate is 98.69%. At the same time, the death rate was recorded at 1.19%. In the last 14 days i.e. from April 1 to 14, 89 thousand people have been infected in the country.

More than 67% new cases in top-5 states, Kerala at the forefront
In the last 24 hours, 10,753 new corona patients were found in the country. Of these, 7,229 cases were found in only 5 states. This is 67% of the total figures.

Kerala: 3,065 new cases were found here, 1,892 people were cured, while 6 people died. Currently there are 18,663 active cases here.

Delhi: 1,420 new cases came here on Friday and 6 people died of corona. 1,065 people were cured of this disease. There have been 4,311 active cases here.

Maharashtra: On Friday, 1,152 new cases came here while 4 people died. Here the positivity rate is 7.27% and there are 5,928 active cases.

Haryana: 835 new cases were reported here last day and 436 people were cured. Currently there are 3,233 active cases in the state. Here the positivity rate has gone up to 8.37%.

Uttar Pradesh: 757 new cases were found here on Friday and 271 people were cured. Currently there are 2579 active cases in the state. The positivity rate here is 1.56%.
