A youth was hit by a tractor-trolley unbalanced near village Pajiya during a walking journey from Kapurthala to Sultanpur Lodhi on the occasion of Prakash Parv of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Sunday morning. The young man was seriously injured by this.
He was immediately admitted to Sultanpur Lodhi Civil Hospital, where doctors declared him. The deceased youth has been identified as Gurjot Singh (24) resident of Aujla Road, Navi Abadi, Street No. 7 Kapurthala. Police is probing the accident.
After the accident, the police reached the spot while investigating.
According to the information, in connection with the celebration of the first Patshahi Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, on Sunday, Nagar Kirtan State was coming from Gurdwara Sahib Kapurthala towards the historic Gurdwara Sri Ber Sahib Sultanpur Lodhi. When Nagar Kirtan reached near village Pazia, the balance of a tractor involved in Nagar Kirtan got disturbed. Who took the young man in his grip on the way.
The young man’s face was badly damaged due to this accident, who was admitted to the Civil Hospital Sultanpur Lodhi with the help of passers-by, where doctors declared him brought dead.
