AAP MP Sushil Gupta’s statement on WFI controversy: Said- Women are in danger from BJP leaders; Government should sack minister and MP

Aam Aadmi Party’s Haryana in-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Sushil Gupta said on the WFI controversy that BJP ministers, MPs and MLAs who gave the slogan of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao are involved in rape cases. It is unfortunate that the government either remains silent or defends in such matters.

The government is giving them protection, but the Aam Aadmi Party is demanding action against them. Dr. Gupta said that his party is demanding strict action including sacking of former Sports Minister Sandeep Singh and WFI President and BJP MP Brij Bhushan. North Haryana convenor Chitra Sarwara was also present with him.

Dr. Gupta was talking to reporters at PWD Rest House on Saturday. Gupta also surrounded the government on the bullet fired in Ambala Central Jail. He said that leave alone outside, women are not safe even in jail. SLR bullet hit the female prisoner’s leg and the police are saying that the bullet came from outside. How can this be possible? He also raised questions on the functioning of the police.

AAP with wrestlers from day one
The Haryana in-charge said that the Aam Aadmi Party is with the wrestlers since day one. He has supported the wrestlers, but the wrestlers do not want the support of any political party in this matter. The allegation of sexual harassment by a female wrestler on the WFI President is a very serious matter. The government should immediately conduct an impartial inquiry as well as sack the MP. Apart from this, he said that the Aam Aadmi Party has full support to the farmers as well.
