The opposition has intensified the siege of former Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann after he was dropped from a Lufthansa Airlines flight after he was under the influence of alcohol. The opposition has hit out at Chief Minister Mann, alleging that he was deboarded from a Delhi-bound flight at Frankfurt airport due to intoxication.
Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Pratap Singh Bajwa has demanded a probe into the matter. He has written a letter to Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia asking Lufthansa Airlines to get information regarding the matter. It is clear that now DGCA will also investigate the matter. Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said that information will be sought from Lufthansa Airlines after investigating the matter.
Earlier, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal had alleged that Chief Minister Mann was deboarded from a Lufthansa airline flight due to his intoxication. It was also alleged that Mann was so intoxicated that he could not even stand on his feet.
Sukhbir Singh Badal also tweeted this report quoting co-passengers. Since then, the opposition is constantly busy laying siege to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. Different leaders of opposition parties are constantly engaged in making political attacks on CM Mann.
