The ADJ-12 court has sentenced the accused to 7 years rigorous imprisonment.

The court has convicted the accused of molesting and then trying to kill him in Aligarh. After which the court has imposed 7 years rigorous imprisonment and a financial fine of Rs 15,000 to the accused. After the registration of the case, the matter was transferred from the CJM Court to the Sessions Court.

The hearing of this case was going on continuously in ADJ-12. The court of ADJ-12 Siddharth Singh has given this decision while hearing the case. After which the family of the victim party celebrated the happiness of getting justice after years. At the same time, the culprit was immediately arrested by the police and sent to jail.

The accused did the incident on the day of Holi

ADGC Pramendra Jain told that the incident is of 2013. The victim, a village resident of Dadon police station area, had filed a case seven months after the incident. In which she told that on the day of Holi on March 2, 2013, she along with her younger sister had gone to the mill to grind wheat.

When she was returning back, Bunty of the village came there and took her by the hand and forcibly took her inside the room. Here he tried to force. When the victim shouted, the accused took out a pistol and opened fire on her and fled from there. The victim got injured and fell.

The victim was immediately admitted to the hospital after the incident and was undergoing treatment for about six months. After recovery, a case was registered on behalf of the victim, after which the police arrested the accused. A firearm was also recovered on his spot.

Punishment will increase if fine is not paid

The court has also sentenced Bunty to seven years’ rigorous imprisonment and to pay a financial fine of Rs 15,000. In case of non-payment of fine, the punishment of the accused will be extended for one more month. The ADGC said that with this, the sentence that the accused has served in jail so far, that sentence will be reduced to seven years. Only then will he be released.
