Earlier, 521 cases of corona were registered in Delhi on Tuesday, which was the highest number of infections reported in a single day after August 27 last year. One patient had also died due to the infection.

293 cases of corona were found on Monday

According to the Health Department data, with the death of one more patient due to infection, the total number of dead had increased to 26,533. The Health Department said that the primary cause of death of the patient was not Kovid-19. During this, the infection rate had gone up to 15.64 percent. According to the health department data, 3,331 samples were tested for Kovid-19 on Monday and 293 cases of infection were reported. Also, the rate of infection was 18.53 percent. It may be noted that Delhi is witnessing an increase in the number of new Covid cases in the last few days amidst a sharp rise in H3N2 influenza cases in the country.
