A joint team of Bhadohi’s Crime Branch and Chauri police station has arrested a robber with a prize money of Rs 50,000. Police has arrested a vicious criminal involved in a robbery case along with a bullion businessman from Vadodara, Gujarat. On transit remand, the police team took the accused to Bhadohi where he was produced before the court.
On June 25, four bike-borne masked miscreants looted gold and silver jewelery and rupees worth lakhs of rupees from a bullion businessman named Jai Kumar Verma in Chauri police station area. The police have already arrested the other accused involved in the case. An accused named Naushad was absconding, on whom a reward of Rs 50,000 was announced.
The accused robber has been arrested by the police.
The robber is a resident of Jaunpur
Dr. Anil Kumar, Superintendent of Police of Bhadohi district said, “Crime branch and Chauri police station team has arrested Naushad, a prize money of 50 thousand from Gujarat. About a dozen cases of cow slaughter, Arms Act, gangster and robbery have been registered.
The SP disclosed the arrest of the robber from Vadodara.
