4 youths arrested with charas in Bilaspur: 3 from Delhi and one from Chamba, 5 kg of intoxicant recovered from the accused

Himachal’s Bilaspur Sadar Police team has arrested 4 youths from Chamba and Delhi in different cases. The police recovered 4 kg 932 grams of charas from the youth of Chamba, while 162.01 grams of charas was recovered from the youth of Delhi. The police have started further action by registering a case under the NDPS Act against the four accused.

According to the information, the police team under the leadership of Sadar police station in-charge Bhupendra Thakur was checking traffic vehicles at Nauni Chowk. During this an Alto car came. Which was stopped for checking. In the search, the police recovered 4 kg 932 grams of charas from the car. During enquiry, the car driver told his name as Jitendra Kumar resident of Digai Tehsil Saluni District Chamba. Whom the police arrested.

After this, the police team set up a naka about one and a half kilometer ahead of Nauni Chowk. During this, a Delhi number car was stopped for checking. Three youths were sitting in the car. The car riders told their names as Prem Sumal resident Rithali New Delhi, Tushar resident Rithala New Delhi, Virendra resident Rithala Rohini Sector New Delhi. When the police checked the vehicle, 162.01 grams of charas was recovered.
