West Bengal Covid News: On Wednesday (January 4), four cases of sub-variant BF.7 of corona virus variant Omicron have been found in West Bengal. The Health Department said that all had come from America. He said that genome sequencing of four people who recently returned from the US confirmed that they corona virus The new variants were infected with BF.7 (Omicron Sub Variant BF.7).
The health department said that the condition of the four patients is stable. The official said that out of four people, three are from Nadia district, while one person is a resident of Bihar, but currently lives in Kolkata.
Earlier also two cases of BF.7 were found in Bengal

Youth returned from America found infected in UP too
Screening and testing is also being done at the airport. Meanwhile, a young man from Agra, Uttar Pradesh studying in America has been found corona infected after returning home. An UP health department official told that after coming from America, his health started deteriorating, with sore throat, cough and fever. He told that on this his sample was sent for examination, the report of which came on Tuesday and he has been found infected. The officer told that he has been asked to stay in isolation at home.
