In Sultanpur, Kotwali police arrested three vicious thieves of four wheeler thief racket. Vehicles like Bolero, Pickup and Ertiga car have been recovered from them. These thieves stole vehicles from Jaunpur, Sant Kabir Nagar and Ayodhya. All these number plates were changed and then sold at low prices. All the thieves caught are residents of Sultanpur district.
Kotwali police arrested three vicious thieves Vinod Kori, Rajesh Kumar and Mohammad Ashfaq from near the brick kiln in Tajkhanpur village this morning. Police have recovered illegal firearms, live cartridges and knives from them. Among those caught, Vinod and Rajesh are residents of Kudwar police station area and Ashfaq is a resident of Tajkhanpur village. Police recovered Bolero pickup stolen from Jaunpur Shahganj, Bolero stolen from Sant Kabir Nagar and Ertiga car stolen from Inayat Nagar in Ayodhya from these three.
The police sent the accused to jail.
Used to smuggle animals with stolen vehicles
If the thieves were to be believed, they used to change the number of the vehicles and used to abscond after selling the vehicles at low prices. Not only this, by stealing the animals from the stolen pickup, they also used to earn huge amount by selling them in the animal market. However, after their capture, the police are breathing a sigh of relief by sending these three to jail.
These have been recovered from the vehicles.
