Meerut News: In order to enter a jewelery shop in Meerut and break open the safe, four people tried to steal in film style. However, he could not succeed in his plan. The thieves first dug a 15 feet long tunnel. After this, he entered the jewelry shop on the way to the tunnel. When they failed to steal, they left a note for the shop owner and left.
Thieves wrote this in the letter
When jeweler Deepak Lodhi reached his shop on Thursday (February 2) morning after receiving the news of the theft, he found a tunnel carved inside the shop. At the same time, a note left by the thieves was also seen on the safe in the shop. In this letter, the thieves had written that we belong to the Chunnu-Munnu tunnel thieves gang. Sorry we weren’t able to steal from your store. The thieves further wrote, ‘We have to earn our name, we are not taking some goods’. The special thing is that the thieves had written these things in English.
Why did the thieves say sorry?
When Deepak Lodhi entered inside the shop, he saw that there was an attempt to break open his safe. CCTV cameras were also found broken. Some were taped. While Deepak was doing the inspection, his eyes fell on a message written on the counter, which was written in English. Deepak told that the thieves had come to steal from his shop, but failed, so he was saying sorry. Deepak informed the police about the incident, after which the police reached the spot and started the investigation.

Thieves also took away the DVR of CCTV installed in the shop. It is being told that the thieves had dug a tunnel from the drain outside the shop, whose length is around 15 feet. Deepak told that the thieves have been able to take away only a few items and this is the third theft at his place. The thieves put the idol of Lord Krishna upside down and took away the silver flute attached to it. At the same time, there is anger among the traders of the area after this incident. He has demanded action in the matter as soon as possible.
