Giving information about the gangsters caught by the high officials of Khanna police.
Police have arrested 12 operatives of Musa gang in Ludhiana, Punjab. Cases are registered against all these in many police stations. They used to carry out robbery incidents on the National Highway. The accused have committed more than a dozen crimes so far. He would stop vehicles on the strength of weapons and then rob people by firing in the air or showing sharp weapons.
SSP Ravi Kumar and SP (D) Pragya Jain said that police station Khanna had received secret information that members of Musa gang, carrying illegal weapons and sharp-edged weapons, gather on the highway every evening in the evening. The accused used to rob cash and other items from the people coming on the highway with the help of weapons. If any passerby opposes them, they would also fire in the air. The police have arrested the accused from near Khanna’s cattle market.

The accused have been identified as Hardeep Singh resident Mandi Ahmedgarh, Dheeraj Batat resident Khanna, Amaninder Singh resident Khanna, Mandeep Singh resident Samrala Road, Harchet Singh resident Khanna, Ankush Sharma resident Khanna, Manish Kumar resident Mandi Gobindgarh, Sandeep Kumar alias Khanna resident of Buxar, Jagwinder Singh. Alias Jampi resident Khedi Naud Singh Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Ranjit Singh alias Jeeta resident of Samrala, Gurmeet Singh alias Pappal resident of Gobindgarh, Lakhbir Singh alias Lakha resident of Malerkotla.
On the other hand, in another case, police of police station Sadar recovered 1 pistol and 2 live cartridges from Mullanpur Dakha resident of Shubham Arora.
Police have recovered 5 pistols 32 bore, 4 pistols 315 bore, 61 trawls, a Swift car and I-20 car, 2 baseball bats, 2 iron swords, 1 knife and 1 iron rod from the henchmen of Musa gang. The accused told that they were operating gangs in cities like Khanna, Mandi Gobindgarh, Kharar, SAS Nagar (Mohali) etc.
The accused would have come on the highway taking advantage of the darkness. By giving hands to the drivers, they would stop on one pretext or the other. Only then would the vehicle driver be siege and show the weapon with which he would have carried out the robbery. There are more than 1 registered cases against the accused. After presenting them in the court, the police have taken them on remand for 5 days.
